Crone Me Please!

“I profess not to know how women's hearts are wooed and won. To me they have always been matters of riddle and admiration.”

—Washington Irving: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

Well hello everyone! First off, I must apologize for not having a post two weeks ago. You see, that week I was quite sick and I was not able to create one. Thankfully it was not COVID and I was able to fully recover!

I was really bummed too because I was super excited to show you my latest project! Yes it involves toys, but this has a bit of a different twist.

So the other day I was walking around Target, and while perusing over their “collectibles section” I ran across good ol’ Pennywise from IT! This is a figure that I’ve been looking for some time, but was unwilling to pay the exorbitant prices resellers put on such figures.

Fun fact, IT wasn’t even in the collectibles section! IT was behind a blue ray player in the adjacent electronics area—whoever hid IT there, was in for a big surprise, HAHA!

About a week or so later, as if it was meant to be, I found the Crone from the Sleepy Hollow movie. And you know what they say about finding “The One”, “When you find her, you’ll know.” Well I KNEW this was perfect! Not to mention the fact that I already owned The Headless Horseman from when the movie first came out!

Well here are some fun photos combining both franchises in a weird and twisted love triangle:

If you really love it, then put a…balloon on it? =D

Not if a certain Headless Hessian has something to say about it!

And that’s it for this crazy love triangle story! Hope you guys enjoyed it. I really liked the vintage grainy look of the photos this time around. If you happen to have any other crazy ideas for some Franchises that you think would go well together, I’d love to hear about it! As always, thank you for stopping by. Your time is precious and I appreciate you spending it here. If you haven’t already, make sure you don’t miss any new posts by signing up below. Take care of yourselves and see you back here in two weeks!
