From Time to Time...

What flies and doesn’t have wings?Time

Time is something to which I’ve always had quite a fascination. Whether it’s something physical like watches, hourglasses, and even sundials to the emotional like memories and songs, and even looking towards the future and trying to figure out what time is yet to bring. This is a big reason why I like doing photography. A photograph is not just an image of a place, occasion, or event—it’s a memory frozen in time. A memory of something that came so fast, that only by clicking a button are you able to even admire it.

They say that time flies, but if you happen to be at the right place at the right time, you might be able to capture something so amazing, that’ll make you want to hunt for more. Here are a few shots of some unique moments that happened so fast, the naked eye didn’t even realize it existed. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this, so please feel free to share them in the comment section!

Formula One

In 2013, I had the opportunity to attend the Formula One race in Austin, Texas. I LOVE how, even as fast as the tires were spinning, I was still able to freeze the tires so well that you can actually read the brand!

Fire!

This was the first time I got to play with fire on a photo. While photographing a commercial kitchen, the cook was very excited to let me capture him while setting his pan on fire. I can still feel the heat every time I look at this photo!

This is the first post with our new schedule. I had to adjust because once a week was a bit much. I would like to thank you for still stopping by. Your time is precious and I appreciate you spending it here.

If you haven’t already, make sure you don’t miss any new posts by signing up below. Take care of yourselves and see you back here in two weeks!
