Turn your lights on!

Funky Lamps. Have you ever tried doing an image search for “Funky Lamps”? It is quite amazing the plethora of images you will get in the results. And if you’re the adventurous type like myself and would like to dive deep into that rabbit hole, try “Vintage Funky Lamps”! And I’m not going to even get into oil lamps…

In the spirit of my current odd mood due to being inside for far too long, I’d like to share with you all three neat little lamps that light our home every night.

If you’re like my wife and love butterflies, this butterfly lamp is very eye-catchy. Made of stained glass, and when it’s on, it’s somewhat hypnotic how all the different colors shine.

This is an intricately carved “Three Graces” Cameo Conch Shell lamp. Out of Greek Mythology, it depicts the three daughters of Zeus—Euphrosyne, Aglaia, and Thalia. (Thanks to a friend for the Greek lesson! Hehe!)

The bulb is introduced from a carved hole at the bottom so it is not exposed, and only the light is seen from the inside when lit. It kind of reminds me of Halloween pumpkins… haha!

And for the music enthusiasts, here’s a fairly unique amber glass lamp in the shape of a guitar.

Its bright amber color will really set the mood.

Are there any funky, or dare I say, even funkier lamps in your collection? I’d love to hear about it!
