Restoring Memories

"What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that's gone forever, impossible to reproduce."

—Karl Lagerfeld

In my post about time, I mention my thoughts on how photography is a memory frozen in time. And it is not necessarily just our own memories, it can also be the memories of others. In either case, it’s always nice to sit back and look at those little snippets of time and reminisce about “the good old days.”

Now sometimes tragedy strikes and those little irreplaceable treasures are damaged in what seems to be beyond repair. But fret not! There’s always hope.

The reason I wanted to share this with you today is because, since we are still stuck inside, I started going through some old photos. Lo and behold, I found some that I’ve been meaning to get to!

These old vintage photos have either faded, or suffered extensive water damage, but after some Photoshopping, they’ve been restored back to their original glory. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did restoring them.

Are there any old photos you have out there in some long lost box that you wish you could restore, or have had restored? I’d love to hear about it!

As always, thank you for stopping by. Your time is precious and I appreciate you spending it here. If you haven’t already, make sure you don’t miss any new posts by signing up below. Take care of yourselves and see you back here in two weeks!
