More Fun with Toys!

“I have a bad feeling about this.”

—Most every major Star Wars character

As you all know, I’ve been getting more into Toy Photography and today I’d like to share with you all something I’ve been working on for some time.

Funko is a company that has taken cuteness to a whole new level, specifically their line of POP figures. They seem to be just about everywhere these days, not to mention the fact that they’ve licensed so many movies, cartoons, music bands, tv-shows, etcetera, etcetera.

Now I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this before, but it probably won’t come as a surprise when I say I’m a pretty big Star Wars fan, and I’ve been one since I was little. Needless to say, the force is strong with this one! Haha!

Well a few years ago, a friend got me a Funko Pop Star Wars Movie Moment. It’s the classic scene of Leia and Luke inside the trash compactor. Very cool, and to top it off, they’re bobble heads too!

Anyway, the other day, while I was looking for something inside my closet, an old Wall-E plush fell on my head. And then it “literally” hit me—What If I were to somehow make it look like the Funko Trash Compactor scene was happening inside a Wall-E?

I felt like Dr. Emmett Brown when he came up w/the idea for the Flux Capacitor —Great Scott!!

And so the hunt was on for the perfect Wall-E! I think I finally found the one that would do the trick! So after some hard work along with some Photoshop help, here’s the final product! What do you think?

Have you ever had some goofy ideas about combining different franchises in a creative way? I’d love to hear about it!

As always, thank you for stopping by. Your time is precious and I appreciate you spending it here. If you haven’t already, make sure you don’t miss any new posts by signing up below. Take care of yourselves and see you back here in two weeks!
